    A Visionary Look at the Future of Technology

    Samsung Semiconductor Europe is set to unveil its newest advancements in cutting-edge semiconductor technology, tailored for artificial intelligence (AI), automotive applications, and beyond, at electronica 2024. Running from November 12-15 in Munich at booth B6.602, Samsung’s exhibit, themed “CROSSROADS: Where the future begins,” will highlight the company’s innovative solutions that are shaping the future of industries including high-performance computing (HPC), data centres, automotive, and consumer electronics.

    Exploring New Possibilities

    Samsung’s booth at electronica 2024 offers an interactive experience that brings together the power of human imagination and cutting-edge technology. Visitors will be able to see firsthand how Samsung is leading the charge in advancing the future through semiconductor and display technologies. Attendees can explore numerous product demos and solutions that reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to realise the potential of AI, enhancing industries from automotive to consumer electronics.

    Showcasing Innovations

    Samsung will highlight several new developments in memory, sensor, foundry, and display technologies, designed to harness the full capabilities of AI and on-device applications. The company will present:

    • Memory Solutions: As the demand for advanced memory solutions rises with the growth of AI, Samsung will introduce its latest products for high-performance computing and data centres, including HBM3E, GDDR7, and DDR5 RDIMM. For the automotive sector, Samsung will display automotive LPDDR5X and Detachable AutoSSD, designed to support the “Server on Wheels” vision.
    • Sensor Solutions: With autonomous driving and ADAS taking the spotlight, precise sensor technology is paramount. Samsung will unveil its ISOCELL Auto sensors, optimised for improved safety in vehicles through cutting-edge HDR and LED Flickering Mitigation (LFM) capabilities.
    • Foundry Solutions: Samsung will present its most recent foundry solutions, focused on the creation of high-performance, low-power semiconductors. These include innovations using advanced Gate-All-Around (GAA) architecture, as well as unique offerings like Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) solutions and eMRAM, designed to meet the evolving demands of AI and automotive technologies.
    • OLED Display Technologies: Samsung’s display solutions promise immersive user experiences for both automotive and smart devices. Highlights include a 13.4-inch automotive-grade OLED, the 13.8-inch Flex Magic Pixel™ for privacy, and the 17.3-inch Flex Note Extendable™ that combines foldable and slidable technologies. A stunning 34-inch panoramic automotive display will also be showcased, boasting a remarkable resolution of up to 6K.

    Transforming the Automotive Interior with Smart Semiconductor Solutions

    Ahead of the event, Jens Kahrweg, COO & SVP at Samsung Semiconductor Europe, will deliver a talk titled “What Are the Emerging Trends in Automotive Interiors/Cockpits, and How Can Smart Semiconductor Solutions Address These Challenges?” during the electronica Automotive conference. The presentation, scheduled for November 11th at 2 p.m. in ICM hall 4, will delve into the latest trends in ADAS and autonomous driving, as well as the role of generative AI in cockpit development. It will also explore how semiconductor solutions are tackling new challenges in automotive design, with an emphasis on collaboration within the industry to push technological boundaries.
