As global telecommunications continue to evolve, Huawei is set to unveil its groundbreaking Personalized Experience Agent for 5G-A core networks at MWC 2025. This innovative solution marks a turning point in network monetization, allowing operators to transition from traditional traffic-based revenue models to experience-driven monetization, ensuring both superior user satisfaction and new business growth opportunities.

    The Evolution of Telecom Monetization

For nearly two decades, the telecom industry has relied on traffic monetization to generate revenue. However, with growing competition and declining margins, traditional connectivity-based pricing models are losing value. Operators are now actively seeking new strategies to enhance revenue streams while delivering better experiences for users.

In response to this industry challenge, seven leading operators, in collaboration with GSMA, established the Intelligent Packet Core Foundry in 2024. This initiative led to the release of “Unlock 5G Potential: How Intelligent Packet Core Drives 5G Monetisation,” highlighting how operators can transition to an experience-driven revenue approach. As a pioneer in next-generation network solutions, Huawei is now set to introduce its Personalized Experience Agent to help operators unlock the full potential of 5G-A monetization.

A New Era of Intelligent Experience Monetization

Current network infrastructures often struggle to provide real-time experience enhancements. When users face network congestion or degraded service quality, there is no immediate intervention to optimise their connectivity. Users must manually switch networks or adjust settings, while operators rely on static Quality Class Indicator (QCI) adjustments that lack real-time adaptability.

Huawei’s Personalized Experience Agent eliminates these limitations by integrating Intelligent Personalized Experience (IPE) technology. This enables real-time end-to-end awareness of user experiences, allowing operators to dynamically adjust network policies based on intelligent orchestration and predictive analysis. Through this framework, operators can instantly detect high-priority users, identify potential service degradations, and implement tailored experience enhancements.

Furthermore, Huawei’s MyLogo feature provides a direct interface for users to see network status, receive experience-based feedback, and even access personalised service optimisation options. This interaction not only improves customer satisfaction but also creates new avenues for operators to monetise premium network experiences.

Empowering Operators with Advanced 5G-A Capabilities

As telecom networks continue to evolve, the global industry is entering a new era of experience monetization. Huawei’s intelligent packet core network solutions, powered by the Personalized Experience Agent, provide operators with advanced capabilities in user awareness, network intelligence, and service optimisation. By leveraging this technology, operators can proactively enhance service quality, accurately identify user needs, and implement targeted service packages in real time.

This innovation represents a strategic shift from passive network management to proactive experience enhancement, ensuring seamless connectivity and enhanced digital services across industries. With a growing emphasis on AI-driven network intelligence, Huawei’s solution positions operators at the forefront of 5G-A monetization.

MWC 2025, set to take place from 3–6 March in Barcelona, will be the stage for Huawei to showcase its latest advancements in 5G-A core networks. Attendees will gain first-hand insight into Huawei’s next-generation 5G services, experience-driven monetization strategies, and intelligent network solutions. Looking ahead, Huawei remains committed to continuous innovation, supporting operators in achieving sustainable business success while delivering world-class network experiences.
