Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is set to showcase its latest innovations at EuroCIS 2025, demonstrating how retailers can leverage AI, computer vision, and IoT to enhance customer experiences, improve security, and drive efficiency. Taking place from 18-20 February in Düsseldorf, Germany, the event will highlight Toshiba’s commitment to empowering retailers to “Create Your Tomorrow” through cutting-edge technology. Visitors can explore these innovations at Hall 9, Booth #B42.

Empowering Retailers to Shape the Future

“In today’s evolving retail landscape, businesses need adaptable solutions to stay ahead,” says Robin Lyon, Executive Director of Channels & Marketing at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. “Toshiba provides a complete ecosystem of modular MxP® hardware, software, and services, harnessing advanced AI, computer vision, and security technologies. Our solutions enable retailers of all sizes to enhance efficiency, personalise customer interactions, and reduce losses.”

    Innovative Solutions on Display

At EuroCIS 2025, Toshiba will showcase a range of technologies designed to streamline retail operations and enhance the customer experience:

    • Next-Gen Self-Checkout & Loss Prevention:
The Modular eXpansion Platform (MxP®) redefines self-checkout with AI-driven loss prevention and produce recognition. Using computer vision and IoT sensors, these solutions detect shrinkage while speeding up transactions. Meanwhile, the TCx® EDGEcam+ enhances store security by monitoring checkout areas without the need for in-store servers.
    • Touch Displays & Flexible POS Systems:
The TCx® 820 POS system and TCx® Touch Displays offer retailers a sleek, adaptable solution available in multiple configurations. Screen sizes range from 10” to 24”, supporting both landscape and portrait orientations for seamless integration into various store environments.
    • AI-Powered Personalized Shopping Experiences:
Toshiba’s Catch Retail platform uses AI to monetise first-party data, enabling retailers to deliver targeted in-store advertisements. This enhances brand engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth by delivering personalised promotions at key shopping touchpoints.
    • Smart Refrigeration for Sustainability:
Axiom Cloud’s AI-powered refrigeration management system helps retailers optimise energy consumption and cut maintenance costs in cold chain operations, supporting sustainability efforts.
    • Toshiba Commerce Marketplace:
Designed to keep retailers ahead in an increasingly digital world, the Toshiba Commerce Marketplace connects businesses with a vast network of leading technology partners, including Adyen, Zebra, Datalogic, Ingenico, Honeywell, Qualcomm, and more. This ecosystem enhances operational efficiency while improving the shopping experience.
