As cyberattacks become more frequent and sophisticated, mid-sized businesses are finding themselves increasingly vulnerable to security breaches. In response, FoxTech, a leading cybersecurity consultancy, has launched a £150,000 initiative to provide businesses with free cybersecurity services throughout February. This programme allows companies to allocate funds across critical security measures, including penetration testing, cloud security reviews, and application security assessments, ensuring their systems remain resilient against cyber threats.

A Strategic Move to Strengthen Cyber Defences

With cybercriminals constantly evolving their tactics, businesses can no longer afford to rely on outdated security measures. FoxTech’s initiative is designed to empower organisations with tailored security solutions that pinpoint vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

Anthony Green, Chief Technology Officer at FoxTech, emphasised the need for proactive cybersecurity strategies: “The reality is that businesses of all sizes are under constant attack. Many don’t realise they have vulnerabilities until it’s too late. With this initiative, we’re offering companies a unique opportunity to assess their security risks at no cost, helping them to strengthen defences before they become a target. Our goal is to provide practical, actionable solutions that businesses can implement immediately.”

What Businesses Can Expect from the Initiative

Participating organisations will gain access to:

    • Tailored Cybersecurity Solutions – Businesses can allocate the complimentary funding to security areas most relevant to them, including internal/external penetration testing, application security reviews, or cloud security assessments.
    • Expert-Led Vulnerability Assessments – FoxTech’s cybersecurity specialists will conduct in-depth evaluations to uncover weaknesses that may otherwise go undetected.
    • Comprehensive Risk Reports – Businesses will receive clear, practical security insights, making it easier to implement protective measures without technical confusion.
    • A No-Cost, No-Obligation Offer – The initiative is completely free, with no hidden costs, ensuring businesses can benefit without financial concerns.

The Rising Threat Landscape for Mid-Sized Businesses

The cyber threat landscape is rapidly evolving, with businesses across sectors—including financial services, healthcare, legal, and retail facing increasing pressure to secure sensitive data and comply with regulatory standards.

Recent reports highlight that mid-sized businesses are particularly vulnerable, often due to limited cybersecurity resources or reliance on legacy security systems that fail to address modern threats. By providing access to free cybersecurity evaluations, FoxTech aims to bridge this gap and offer businesses a robust security foundation to protect against future cyber incidents.

Anthony Green stressed the importance of regular security evaluations: “Even organisations that feel confident in their security posture can benefit from a fresh set of expert eyes. Cybercriminals are always adapting, so businesses must be just as proactive. Whether you need to secure your cloud environment, assess application vulnerabilities, or test overall defences, this initiative provides an opportunity to reinforce security and stay ahead of evolving cyber risks.”

    How Businesses Can Apply

The £150,000 allocation will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Businesses across all industries are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure their complimentary cybersecurity service before the funding is exhausted or by the final deadline of 29th February 2024.
