Throughout the Vega+ fiasco, Retro Computers Limited have attempted to remove negative articles about themselves from the internet by threatening authors, hosting companies, contacting employers, or in some cases sending fake takedown notices to Google and claiming defamation. RCL have also been using a policeman with the surname Levy to have content removed.
Google forwards copies of takedown notices to the Lumen Database when it takes down content. Lumen Database is what was formerly known as "Chilling Effects" - a site used to catalog DMCA and other kinds of takedowns.
When a search result includes takedown notices, a small footer is added to the search results informing the user that content has been removed.
Will the ZX Spectrum Vega+ ever materialise?
Holly Brockwell's original article Will the ZX Spectrum Vega+ ever materialise was published in March 2017, and was removed within 24 hours. A backup of the article was posted on the site codetapper.com and RCL contractor Lee Fogarty sent a fake complaint to the hosting company to remove it. RCL also sent a defamation notice to Google to remove the article from Google searches.

A tiny amount of the promised 400 have been spotted in the wild and there's not a single positive review.
RCL really do seem to be trying to "go for broke" here, with their lawyers now contacting them to chase over a quarter of a million pounds in unpaid fees...
"Our Indiegogo campaign is to raise funds to manufacture the first 2,500 or more units of the Vega+ in the UK, and to prepare us for the second production run."
